Donors Rally Together to Raise Funds for HSU During Giving Day

February 19, 2025

Thanks to the generosity of more than 115 Cowboys and Cowgirls across nine states, more than $52,900 was raised during Hardin-Simmons University’s Giving Day, Cowboys Raise Gold. This surpassed the online fundraising goal of $18,910.

Early giving for Cowboys Raise Gold began on February 12, 2025, and concluded on February 18, 2025. Every dollar raised counted toward the Day of Giving. It included funds for the Student Care Fund, Annual Scholarship Fund, Six White Horses, Christlieb Program, Theatre Program, Equine Assisted Services, Mission Trips, and HSU Athletics – focusing on how all the projects work together to create impactful experiences for HSU students.

“We look forward to continuing the growth of Cowboys Raise Gold,” said Heather Hadlock, Associate Vice President for Engagement and Advancement. “Your generosity during Cowboys Raise Gold has filled our hearts and made a tremendous difference, ensuring that HSU remains an affordable place for students to receive an education enlightened by Christian faith. Thank you, Hardin-Simmons family. We are connected for life.”

Cowboys Raise Gold began in 2023 and is timed around HSU’s founding. Thanks to the generosity of donors, over $12,000 was received in matching gifts for this year’s Giving Day.

While the campaign ended on the morning of February 19, you can still make a gift to impact the students at HSU. Click here to learn more.
